This is one of the biggest markets in Byron, covering several acres. Treat yourself to food, crafts, massage, music and more. Arrive early to get the best produce, then soak up the colourful characters in sparkles, tie-dye and fairy wings!

Byron Bay Artisan Market
Every Saturday night, 4pm - 9pm, October - Easter
Here you’ll find Byron locals selling artisan wares, delicious food stalls and plenty of entertainment if you’d prefer sit and soak up the atmosphere. Chat to the makers themselves at this family-friendly market.

Weekly
Byron Bay Farmers Market
Every Thursday, 8am - 11am
These markets are famous in the Byron Bay community and surrounds. Enjoy organic, fresh food direct from the growers, stock up on staples or try something you’ve never tasted before. Produce differs depending on the season, but prawns from nearby Ballina are a year-round staple. Take a kilo, head to the beach and you have lunch sorted! If pork is more your style, Byron Bay Pork is used by restaurants all over the country.

New Brighton Farmers Market, Tuesdays, 8 – 11am
About 20 minutes north of Byron Bay, most of the produce available here is organic. Makers support the farm-to-table concept and are happy to share the stories behind their produce. Make sure to grab a coffee from one of the local stalls.

Farmers sell their produce direct to consumers from all over the region, and advocates for customers talking to the people who are growing their food.

Mullumbimby Farmers Market, Fridays, 7 – 11am

The Mullumbimby Markets are a meeting place for locals, who come for the fresh coffee, and fresh breakfasts! Stock up on your weekly groceries, and eat well for your stay in Byron.

Bangalow Farmers Market, Saturdays, 8-11am
Byron Bay’s locals are flocking to Bangalow for its sweet boutiques and delicious restaurants, and the Bangalow Farmer’s Markets are a popular weekly destination. While the markets are small, they are full of organic produce, and once you’ve finished at the markets you can spend some time wandering around Bangalow.

South of Byron, locals of Lismore love the Lismore Farmers Market for stocking up on their weekly produce. Look for the local chocolate makers and snack on fresh baked bread.

1st Saturday - Brunswick Heads Monthly Market
Just 15 minutes north of Byron, Brunswick Heads is a family friendly seaside town with great local markets. Snap up a bargain at one of the many garage sales that are run on the same day as market day, or visit the markets themselves for arts and crafts or delicious local produce.

1st Sunday - Lismore Car Boot Markets
The Lismore Car Boot Markets are a truly unique experience. Explore over 200 stalls and over 30 nearby garage sales and keep an eye out for a great range of antiques and collectables. Make sure you get there early, and keep the kids entertained with face painting and plenty of food.
 
2nd Sunday - The Channon Craft Market, 

Mullumbimby Car Boot Market
The Channon Craft Market is 45 minutes west of Byron in a tiny town that comes alive every second Sunday. Peruse one of the 250 stalls, take home some delicious food or treat yourself to an antique find!

3rd Saturday - Mullumbimby Market
Locally made products make for the best souvenirs, and you’ll find them aplenty at the Mullum Markets. Check out the Brunswick Valley Historical Museum just next door.
 
3rd Sunday - Uki Buttery Bazaar Market, Lismore Car Boot Market
Uki is a great place to visit just outside of Byron, and what better excuse than the monthly markets! Grab a coffee and enjoy the shade by the river, or listen to the live entertainment while shopping for bargains.
 
4th Sunday - Bangalow Market
Relax under the giant camphor laurel trees with a cup of Joe and a pastry and soak up the ambiance of one of our favourite Northern NSW markets.
